Android 5.0.1 Update Will Include Various Bug Fixes

Android 5.0.1 Update

Android 5.0.1 build has arrived to AOSP, but we still didn’t know what kind of bug fixes it will include. Finally, we may have a clue of possible fixes included with the update. The Android 5.0.1 could make the Trusted Face recognition feature work better on Nexus 6. Previously, users reported that the feature doesn’t work well in low-light situations.

The facial recognition fails to work when there’s not enough light. The reason is probably because the display doesn’t increase its brightness high enough to light up user’s face. With more light used to compensate, it is believed that the Trusted Face feature will work better.

Sources from Google Group recently revealed that a fix for the issue has been released and the Android 5.0.1 seems the only logical update. It is reasonable to assume that the Android 5.0.1 will include various fixes. But we still need to wait for a while to confirm, but such a fix may be imminent. Nexus 7 users have also reported various problems when using YouTube, causing videos fail to run. Android Lollipop hasn’t been released widely in the market, since most users still stuck on KitKat and Jelly Bean.
