Android 5.0 Lollipop Will Be Available for LG G3 and Samsung Galaxy S5 in December

Android 5.0 Lollipop Update

Soon, multiple smartphone makers will announce update plans that include the Android 5.0 software for the high-end models. At the moment, Sony, Motorola and HTC have unveiled their plans and finally, LG and Samsung have joined the fray. LG Europe revealed recently that it will deliver Lollipop update for LG G3 users in Belgium and the Netherlands.

The new software version should hit the LG G3 before the year of 2015 arrives. This means, the new update should arrive shortly before Christmas or New Year Day. Samsung’s popular flagship, the Galaxy S5 will also get the Lollipop update soon.

The Android 5.0 update should also arrive to the high-end phablet, Samsung Galaxy Note 4; so it appears that manufacturers seek to move fast by integrating the new software to their devices soon. HTC told us that the update should arrive about 90 days after Google release the source code. It means, the update should be available for HTC One M8 this year. All in all, any manufacturer who are able to update at least one flagship model three months after the official release of the Lollipop should be considered as successful.
