Android Lollipop Update is Finally Available for International Version of HTC One (M8)

HTC-One-(M8)HTC fans rejoice! Finally, the much awaited Android Lollipop update is finally available for the One M8 and it includes the usual HTC Sense UI. The major software upgrade is available for any International user of the phone and it also brings the firmware version to the newest version.

It should be noted that the software weigh in at nearly 800MB, so it is probably better to download it through a reliable WiFi connection. There are many new enhancements included with the software, including the quick toggle settings and the revamped notification drawer. There’s also a switcher interface for recent tasks.

The interface seems to be inspired partially by the Material Design and obviously, we could expect to get a few improvements over the previous Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. However, much of the enhancements are under the hood and invisible to common users, such as the ART. Visually, the Sense UI remains mostly unchanged, but it is not really a bad thing. Users can check Settings> Software manually to see whether the update has been available for them. If it is, a message should be displayed on the screen that they can download it immediately.
