Blue Version of LG G3 is Released

LG G3 Blue SteelLG G3 comes with good visual design and it is now providing the “blue steel” model of the device. The new version of the high-end device is now available through Best Buy. Subscribers of Sprint, AT&T and Verizon could get the phone on contract, starting from $99.99. Obviously, other than the new paint job, we shouldn’t expect to get other significant changes. The Blue version of LG G3 should be identical in terms of hardware specs with the original phone released in June.

It is equipped with 5.5-inch QHD display, 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor, 3000mAh battery and 13Mp rear-facing camera with laser-aided autofocus. LG G3 has also announced the upcoming Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the G3, starting from countries in Europe.

It isn’t clear when the software will be available for G3 users in the United States. In the meantime, new users of the phone will use the Android 4.4 Kitkat, which is already considered as a mature and stable platform. The LG G3 was released in the United States in three original color versions, Metallic Black, Silk White and Shine Gold.
