HTC One (M9) Plus May Have 5.2-inch Display

HTC-One-(M9)The HTC One (M9) is expected to be the successor to the current One (M8) and it would be unveiled on March 1. There’s a possibility that two successors will be announced, the regular One (M9) and the larger HTC One M9 Plus – both may share the same codename HTC Hima.

We heard previously that the smaller One (M9) will have a 5-inch display and the bigger One (M9) Plus with a 5.5-inch display. However, it is recently suggested that the (M9) Plus won’t be much larger and it will have a smaller 5.2-inch display instead, possible with 2560 x 1440 screen resolution.

It is quite interesting to know why HTC makes a couple of devices with nearly similar display sizes, but the smaller 5-inch model could have Full HD resolution. Also, if the leaked render is accurate, it is quite possible that the smaller handset will not have physical Home button, while the bigger model will. @Upleaks said that the Home button could have integrated fingerprint scanner. These models could have Sense 7.0 UI with Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system. The smaller device will use a MediaTek Processor, while the Plus version with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core chip.
