Huawei P8 Will Be Released on February 15

Huawei-P8We have seen the prototype of Huawei P8 recently and it is expected to offer 5.2-inch Full HD display. It will be driven by the homegrown Kirin 930 octa-core processor. There are also a 13Mp rear-facing camera and 3GB of RAM. The OIS feature should allow improved picture reproduction in low lights situations. The whole shebang will be powered with a 2600mAh battery.

Some expected to see the phone at MWC 2015, but in reality, it will arrive a couple of weeks sooner. The company will take the wraps off of the P8 on April 15th in London. This could be a good strategy, because it allows Huawei to introduce its phone without being disrupted by the competitors in the MWC event.

Based on shipment volumes, Huawei is the world’s third largest smartphone maker. The company is known for its Android devices, which could be customized to deliver some unique characteristics. Huawei will also unveil a smartwatch model based on the Google Android Wear platform and it could soon participate in the fitness market by releasing a smartband. This year, we could also get new smartphone models included in Huawei Honor, G and Y series; as well as new models of X and M tablet series.
