LG G Flex 2 May Have Smaller Display

LG G Flex 2

According to recent reports from LG India, the next flexible smartphone model from the company, the LG G Flex 2 may feature a smaller display. As comparison, the original LG G Flex has 6-inch screen with 720p resolution. The resolution of Flex 2 is also supposedly higher.

Assuming that LG won’t include the high-end 2560 x 1400 resolution, we could get a flexible phone with Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution. This means, both the higher screen resolution and smaller display will result in much higher pixel density. There’s no word whether the Flex 2 will still be equipped with the self-healing back.

The first official release of the G Flex 2 could be in South Korea, followed by other countries, such the United States and India. The original G Flex was also officially unveiled in South Koreas, as a response to the Samsung Galaxy Round, a rigid curved smartphone. The LG India didn’t leave any worth related to the pricing and the probable launch date.

We may not still get a display that will completely bend, but the LG G Flex and Samsung Galaxy Round have shown us that it is possibly to make curvy display.
