LG May Launch LG G4 and Skip the LG G Pro 3

LG released the LG Optimus G Pro and LG G Pro 2 back in February 2013 and February 2014, respectively. Common sense would suggest that a successor will be delivered in February next year. But rumor has it that the LG G Pro 3 may not be available in 2015 and it may never even be released. The South Korean company could be planning to focus on the LG G4 instead, so the axing of LG G Pro 3 could be somewhat surprising for the fans.

As a comparison, the LG G Pro 2 came with a 5.9-inch display, while the LG G3 has a smaller 5.5-inch display. It means that there’s already a small difference in display size. This may indicate that the LG G4 could be slightly bigger than the LG G3, so the company could be planning to simplify its catalog by delivering only a single high-end model.

Previously, we heard that the LG G Pro3 will be powered by the NUCLUN (previously “Odin”) octa-core processor, which has plenty of issues and quite a few flaws. The chip is currently used by the LG G3 Screen and it has been drawing a lot of criticism.
