Meizu M2 Note Offers Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and Octa-core Processor

Meizu M2 NoteThe Meizu M2 Note is certainly something that we should have if we want to purchase a low-cost smartphone with the latest Android version in the market, 5.1.1 Lollipop. The 5.5-inch device has magnesium allow frame and polycarbonate unibody with pastel colors. With 1000:1 contrast ratio, the reasonably large display offers 450 nits of brightness and Full HD resolution.

It is also equipped with MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor, 5Mp front-facing shooter, 13Mp rear-facing camera and dual LED flash. With 2GB of RAM, the M2 Note offers decent multitasking capability for typical usages.

The Meizu Note 2 also offers 4G LTE connectivity on its two SIM or Dual SIM slots. And the icing on the cake is a hearty 3100mAh battery and it’s something we don’t see too often at the sub-$180 price point. The phone is now available for pre-order in major online retailers at China. With a coupon from Meizu, the price could be knocked down slightly to $169.

At the moment, the Meizu M2 Note is available only with gray case. Again, there’s no confirmation from Meizu about International availability and the phone seems to offer significant performance for the price.
