Samsung May Soon Release Galaxy Core 2 Duos and Galaxy Pocket 2

samsung galaxy core 2 duosIt is believed that Samsung has already released more than a hundred of Android-powered smartphone models since 2009. We could expect that the South Korean company will introduce many more. Two of the newest models are the Galaxy Core 2 Duos and Galaxy Pocket 2. These devices are recently spotted on a Vietnamese online store website. However, Samsung has yet to confirm these smartphone models.

The Galaxy Pocket 2 is the successor of the last year’s Pocket Plus. As an entry level model, the Pocket 2 could be equipped with 3.2-inch QVGA display, 1GHz single-core processor, 4GB of onboard storage, 2Mp rear-facing camera and 512MB of RAM. The Galaxy Core 2 Duos could be the dual-SIM version of the original Galaxy Core 2. The basic hardware configuration should be mostly similar; with quad-core processor, 4.5-inch WVGA display, VGA front-facing camera, 5Mp rear-facing camera with flash, 4GB on onboard storage and 768MB of RAM. Unfortunately, Samsung hasn’t even released the single-SIM Core 2 yet and the phone is supposed to arrive last month. There’s a possibility that the Core 2 will be available only with dual-SIM configuration and this is the new identity of the phone.
