GFXBench Reveals Hardware Details of Meizu MX4 Pro

Meizu MX4 Pro

It appears that Meizu MX4 PRO will be a rather reasonable device, despite its $449 price tag. The phone should be a continuation of the MX4 series and the Pro model will bring multiple new enhancements. According to earlier reports, the phone will be equipped with 5.5-inch Quad HD display with 543ppi of pixel density.

There will also be 3GB of RAM and physical home button. Apparently, the phone has recently passed the GFXBench benchmarking process and it will be powered with Samsung’s Exynos 5430 octa-core processor. This should be the same processor we find in the metal-clad Samsung Galaxy Alpha.

The Samsung Exynos 5430 is a 20nm processor based on the HKMG (High-K Metal Gate) technology with eight embedded cores. It is based on ARM’s big.LITTLE configuration, consisted of four energy-efficient Cortex A7 quad-core cluster and more powerful Cortex A15 quad-core cluster. It should be able to decide which quad-core cluster to enable when running specific tasks. The ARM Mali-T628 hexa-core GPU processes the graphics and based on the overall benchmark scores, the Exynos 5430 is still no faster than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 in the LG G3.
