Hima will be HTC’s New Flagship Model

HTC Hima

According to trusted online sources, HTC will release a successor of the One (M8). Codenamed HTC Hima, the phone should arrive in March. It is believed that all major carriers in the United States will offer the phone and it is possibly being tested by these network providers. We heard previously that the Hima will have a Quad HD 5.5-inch display and high-performance Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor.

However, @upleaks revealed that the Hima will have a smaller 5-inch Full HD display and a more advanced processor, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 with 64-bit capability. The octa-core processor is based on the usual big.LITTLE configuration with four 1.5GHz cores and four 2.0GHz cores.

The Hima may also be equipped with 3GB of RAM, VoLTE, 2840mAh battery and 20.7Mp rear-facing camera. It’s not clear what the front-facing camera would be, but it could be 4Mp UltraPixel or 13Mp sensors. The device should run the new Lollipop Android 5.0 operating system under the Sense 7.0 UI.

We could also expect to get the HTC Hima Ace, which is a low-cost version of the flagship with dual-SIM slots and probably a smaller display as well as less capable processor.
