HTC Desire 620 Will Be Available in Europe Soon

HTC has recently introduced the Desire 620 and it will be available initially in Taiwan this month. Finally, the company confirms that the phone will be released in other markets as well. The Desire 620 should arrive in Europe as early as next month. The HTC Desire will be offered by Carphone Warehouse, Three, EE and O2 in the United Kingdom.

In Germany, the phone will cost €279 or about $345. Overall, the Desire 620 is a mid-tier device powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 64-bit processor. It is a more improved and larger version than the previous Desire 610. It sports a 5-inch 720p display and available in different color options. Other features are 8GB of onboard storage, 1GB of RAM, 5Mp front-facing camera, 8Mp rear-facing camera with flash 4G LTE connectivity, microSD card slot and 2100mAh battery.

While it is currently using the older Android 4.4 KitKat, the phone could eventually be upgraded to the newer Android 5.0 Lollipop in the future. The HTC Desire 620G is a variant of the phone and it is identical to the basic 620 design, but lacks 4G LTE connectivity and it is powered by 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6592 octa-core processor. It is available initially in China and in the future, could be distributed in emerging markets as well.
