Huawei May Introduce Honor X2 in MWC

HuaweiHuawei gave us a big surprise last year in the MWC event with its oversized phablet, the MediaPad X1 with its huge 7-inch display. It wasn’t really a tablet because the device still has full-fledged communication capability like standard smartphone. It appears that the company will release yet another phablet, but with a smaller display size, judging from its pictures.

The Honor X2 could still be called a small tablet, depending on how we feel about it. Like its predecessor, the Honor X2 still keeps its great screen-to-body ratio. However, we could still be sure that the company will stuff its new phablet with decent internals too.

In fact, it is reported that the Honor X2 will be equipped with Full HD display, Kirin 925 octa core processor and 3GB of RAM. Its pricing could be pegged at around 1999 yuan or approximately $320. This should be a rather decent pricing for people who seek big screen devices.
The Mobile World Congress event will take place in Barcelona, Spain and it will be the opportunity where various device manufacturers will tout their latest hardware. As an example, HTC is expected to roll out its wearable model. However, consumers will likely choose models that strike a good balance between performance, look and pricing.
