Meizu M1 Note May Have Three Operating System Options

Meizu-M1-Note-MayMeizu achieved a lot of great things in 2014 and it released three really interesting devices last year. They’ll surely want to repeat that this year, by stepping everything up a notch. The China-based company is also a competitor to Xiaomi and it is doing a good job in the local Chinese market. Meizu recently announced that they will hold another event on January 28 in Beijing and this could be the moment when the M1 Note is finally released. It should be a very affordable mid-ranger that packs a huge punch for the price.

We have heard and seen a lot of leaked information regarding the Meizu M1 Note and it appears that the phone will be available in three software platform options. There will be Ubuntu Touch OS, YunOS and Flyme. The latter is Meizu’s primary UI placed on top of Android operating system. YunOS is a mobile software platform from Alibaba and we don’t whether it will be coated with Flyme as well. Ubuntu Touch OS is obviously an interesting addition out of the bunch. Meizu and Canonical has an official agreement and we have been expecting to get Meizu’s phone with Ubuntu operating system.
