Meizu M1 Note Mini Will Be Introduced in January 28

Meizu M1 Note MiniThe Meizu M1 Note Blue Charm was a good surprise with its octa-core processor, 1080p display and affordable price tag, at only $160. It appears that the company is preparing an even cheaper and smaller version of the phone, to be announced later this month; specifically on January 28.

The phone will be known as the Meizu M1 Note Mini with its 5-inch 720p display. It will also have 64-bit MediaTek processor and 4G LTE connectivity. The phone could be priced at approximately $100 and it will be a direct response to the Redmi 2, which is powered by the 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor. Like other Meizu smartphone models, the M1 Note Mini will also use the modified Android interface, known as the Flyme OS.

It appears that the January 28 event is more than just about the M1 Note Mini and the company has also been developing its own smart home devices, proprietary payment system and other fitness-related products, such as a wearable band.

As a reminder, the original Meizu M1 Note has a 5.5-inch display with IGZO panel and 403ppi of pixel density. The phone also has the Mali T760 GPU and MediaTeak Cortex A53 octa-core processor combo. The phone also has 5Mp front-facing camera, 13Mp rear-facing camera with dual LED flash and 2GB of RAM.
