Samsung’s Flagship Models Will Receive Android 5.0 Lollipop Early Next Year

Android UpdateAndroid 5.0 Lollipop is clearly one of the hottest software platforms available today. It is a preferred by any technology-inclined user who seeks to get the newest and the best in the market. Many average consumers are also wondering whether they will soon receive the Lollipop for the devices. As it turns out, the South Korean company could release the major Android update in early next year.

Trusted sources informed us through Twitter that multiple high-end models from the Samsung, including Galaxy S5 LTE-A, Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note 3 will receive the software update next year. We still can’t be sure how Samsung will release the update, but it is likely that the company won’t roll it out simultaneously for these devices. Perhaps, Samsung will start off with the newest models first, such as the Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy S5 LTE-A, followed later by the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy S4.

Perhaps, it better for Samsung to slightly delay the release of the software, because an original software release is typically plagued by at least a few glitches and bugs. Google has introduced the Android 5.0.1 update recently and we could be hopeful that Samsung will use the incremental update.
